Rebate Processing

Interconnection Paperwork

Our clients usually prefer to package rebate and interconnection processing together, as the two go hand-in-hand for solar installations. Your SolarMate has been known to receive permission to operate (PTO) for their projects in record time, and this is due to our keen to detail and consistent communication with the utility company. You and your customer want the solar system turned on as soon as possible, and we will help that become reality. We make sure the calculations and data match the single line diagram in order to get approval after the utility company's inspection.

Site Assessment

Our team of site assessors have a wide range of experience, from working with large solar companies to working for the utility companies as inspectors. We will come to your project site and complete a thorough roof measure and analysis to select the optimal solar array location, as well as a shading report study with the SunEye tool. We also photo document the entire site (the roof, property layout, and electrical equipment/labels) so that there will never be a need to go back to the site until it's time for installation. Remember, we represent your company from the point at which we schedule the appointment and during our visit to finish the site survey and assessment.

Electrical Permit Plan Sets

Allow our highly skilled team of engineers to design your customer's solar system at a very affordable price. We have megawatts of experience and are familiar with the strict guidelines requires by cities nationwide. We are always researching these guidelines as they change in order to make sure that you project receives a permit with little or no corrections in between. Should there ever be corrections requested by the plan checker, we will make them immediately for no extra charge. We will stand by our work until the permit is issued. We also have structural and electrical engineers that can provide calculations and stamps when required by the city, although this entails an additional fee. We strive to keep our turnaround time at 4-6 business days. Our engineers are available to talk directly with your team for specific requests and/or questions. If we are not doing the site assessment for your project, we will require some specific information from you to ensure the design is accurate.

Title 24 Report

Title 24 reports are essential in the solar industry when dealing with large commercial buildings, multifamily affordable housing, and new custom homes. Programs such as the New Solar Homes Partnership (NSHP), require Title 24 reports for rebate calculations. Our team offers Title 24 energy audits and calculations throughout California. We gaurantee that our package will pass with your local building department and speed up your solar installation.

HERS Rater

A home energy rating involves an analysis of a home's construction plans and onsite inspections. Based on the home's plans, the Home Energy Rater uses an energy efficiency software package to perform an energy analsyis of the home's design. The New Solar Homes Partnership (NSHP) requires a final verification by a solar PV certified HERS Rater and our company can assist you in finding a qualified individual to provide the necessary documents for your solar project. We also provide rebate processing for the NSHP program and work closely with all program administrators under the CSI.
